Ten people were shot outside a music venue in Queens, New York, when several men opened fire on a group waiting to enter, local police have reported.
The incident occurred around 11:18 pm on Wednesday, with about 90 people inside the venue and around 15 waiting outside. The victims, aged 16 to 20, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Police reported that approximately 30 shots were fired, and the male suspects fled the scene on foot before escaping in a sedan with out-of-state plates. The authorities are investigating potential gang involvement, and have said the shooting was not a terrorist attack.
